The Model 100V employs a white light source, and permits the insertion of a color filter in order to measure Transmittance in any region of the visible spectrum. With a 4-1/2 digit LED readout, measurements are typically accurate within +/-0.02%. At the time of purchase, the customer can select filters with the central wavelength and bandwidth of his choice. This allows the Model 100V to be configured for many diverse purposes. The instruments feature an electronically chopped test beam for maximum accuracy and independence from ambient lighting conditions. The Model 100V can accommodate samples up to 2.0 inches thick and can measure to the center of a 12-inch wide sample. They are easy to use, stable in operation, and provide highly reproducible readings. Like all Graham Transmissometers, the Model 100V is virtually maintenance free. The Model 100V transmissometer can also be configured with multiple channels to measure percent transmittance at several fixed wavelengths in the near-ultraviolet, violet, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, or infrared regions of the spectrum (either narrow band or broad band as requested at time of purchase). The Model 100V Transmissometer is currently being used for measuring transmittance of glass, filters, plastics, films, optical coatings, etc. All Graham Transmissometers operate in any normal ambient lighting condition. . .no need to operate the instrument in a darkened room!
